BEECH (Bee Experimental Ethology CHamber)
I have recently developed a modified version of the MAPLE robot from the de Bivort lab (described here and published here) to automatically monitor behavior of uniquely identified workers in multiple bumblebee colonies in parallel. I'm currently developing an extension of this platform that incorporates thermal imaging and environmental control of nest temperatures (BEECHTREE; Bee Experimental Ethology CHamber for Thermally Realistic Ecological Endothermy).
